Christmas Traditons

Growing up we always had a fun tradition on Christmas Eve. My mom would get matching PJ's for all 6 us. We would open them up and wear them that night. We always looked forward to seeing what she had found. I started that tradition with my kids. I love shopping for the pajamas. Even though i know my kids are too young to really understand it and enjoy it. Here is my problem. I can't find Christmas jammies for boys anywhere. I have tried Target, Gap, Kohls, Mervyns, Gymboree, everywhere!!! Old navy has a very slim selection(which i was really disappointed in). They did have a cute one for Parker but of course didn't have his size at the store or online. Then of course i have found a ton of cute girl ones but the size Sammy wears must be the size everyone else wears. I am hoping that the stores will restock in that area. I know i am stressing way more than i really should be. It's actually quite sad how upset i am getting over it. That's just my vent for the day. Thanks for listening.

Alisa, I had the HARDEST time finding a pair for Kate that matched Will's in her size. I think I had to go so many places!

oh the ease of two girls. Lol, I got theirs at old navy a few weeks ago. We have the same tradition. Try costco, they have the CUTEST jammies at our costco. They have carters fleece ones, 2 pieces and 1 pieces. They are ADORABLE! Good luck!

I'd get upset over it, too. I can't wait to see pictures of what you do find.

This is why I just get pjs. They never match and they aren't Christmas ones. I know this isn't as fun, but it makes it a lot easier on me!!

Well i ended up finding red pjs for the boys with dogs on it. They aren't really Christmasy but hey it has red on it. Sammy got some red ones with Christmas Trees. Thanks for your concern everyone!

Do you not remember all of my agonizing over this same thing??? And all of my rants about how every single store has 14 different Christmas patterns for girls and like 2 options for boys (which are usually something like skulls or sponge bob. What's up with that?? Boys celebrate Christmas too ya know!) I went to at least 10 stores and ended up getting Carters ones that are quite adorable, but man I was so mad.

We had the same tradition - except the boys had matching pjs and the girls had matching pjs. I'm going to do the same with our little fam.

Thanks for starting a blog!

We had the same tradition but I haven't carried it on. Maybe when I have kids. One tradition we did (and still do) is on the first Monday in December we go and buy a new ornament for the year. I have all of these fun ornaments that I've collected over the years on my tree every year plus the new additions.
