Usually Fridays are fun days for us. Um yeah...not today. All 3 of my kids had to get shots today. The original plan was to just have Sammy and Parker get theirs and then have Nicholas get his next week. The Dr. talked me into getting all 3 of them today. Yes i must be crazy! Nicholas had to have 4 shots and he was terrified. Then Sammy went next, and of course she was even more terrified because she saw her older brother going crazy. Last was Parker and he did pretty good. He had to get 2 shots and after the 2ND one he was crying. So here i am with 3 kids who are all crying. People were looking at me like i was crazy. You better believe that i let each kid take 3 lollipops. I promised them Mickey D's since they had to get shots. I am leaving on a girls weekend trip tomorrow so hopefully they aren't too bad for Luke--I promise i didn't plan that.
They are showing you their boo boos. Nicholas was trying to make a sad face but he just couldn't.

They look cute! I'm glad they were still able to smile later. I feel for you because I always have to get both of my girls shots at the same time. I try to always schedule it when Collins can come with because there is no way I could hold two screaming babies. But I still feel bad because I want to comfort each one but you can't. My doctor won't take three kids at once but since two of mine are twins they are now making an exception. At least you have them all done and over with!
oohh! how sad. I hate shots. I feel horrible wrestling with my kids and using all of my might to hold them down. not fun. i am sorry! have fun this weekend. I am jealous!
I hate shots too! My little one had to get 3 shots yesterday and one of them was in her arm! Ouch!

SO SAD!!! You are such a brave mom! I hate taking one kid to get shots, I can't imagine doing three at once! You deserve a girls weekend after today! Have so much fun this weekend!!!!
Oh man, I hate when my kids have to get shots. And the older they get, it seems like the more afraid they get. Last year I had Sam and Jess get flu shots. Of corse they freaked out, which made Tyler scream, and he didn't even get a shot. Oh the things we mothers go through. I think after that, you deserve a girls weekend!
P.S. Andrew wrote a little note on CJ's last letter. It was hillarious! He said that the Gordon-Zockoll union must still take place, and since Amy didn't wait for CJ ;), Andrew said there is always still the thought of him and Claire. It was so funny. It made my mom laugh! I am so glad they are comps!
That seriously stinks! I think they deserve 3 lollipops each for sure... did you take a few too or at least get a Diet Coke? Gage freaked out the last time he got shots, which freaked Jake out, etc. So when Jake got shots a couple weeks ago, Gage was not present and it went ok. Have so much fun on the beach reading magazines... seiously wish I was there!
Oh you brave brave woman! I've done two kids before and decided to not try that again!
Also, I am so sorry about Friday! I completely forgot. I will call you this week.

Oh, man, you are crazy. Well, maybe it's better just to get it over with in one swoop! I really hate shot day. Especially when it's the baby's turn and you are holding them and after that first prick they look up at you lik, "Why are you doing this to me!?" Oh ya, good times! Have fun on your girl trip!
