National Holiday!

For those of you who don't know, today is my brother Aaron's birthday. Which means it is a national holiday. No really he thinks everyone everywhere celebrates his birthday and tells people about 9 months before to get ready for his party. He takes about 2 or 3 days off of work, because well it's his birthday.....of course! Aaron turns 32 today. He is the oldest child in my family but most of the time stills acts like a kid. Most of you know Aaron pretty well and probably get multiple phone calls a day from him(i promise i didn't give him your number). We love Aaron and my kids really have a lot of fun with him. He is a great uncle and the older i get i realize he is great older brother and i we are really lucky to have him in our lives. Here are a few funnies about Aaron.

1. He still calls me Chris Echols. Which was a boyfriend i had about 13 years ago. Seriously, every time he calls Luke he refers to me as Chris Echols.
2. He loves to touch ears. When i was pregnant with Nicholas he said he can't wait to hold him and pinch his ears all the time.
3. His theory is: If you served a mission you are going to have boys.
4. When Adam was getting married he said he was going to turn into an ant so he can go to the sealing.
5. He loved his big white truck in high school and wearing his Letterman jacket.
6. Him and Wendy Galella ( enough said)
7. He calls my youngest brother gay(which he isn't)
8. When i was younger i hated bringing my friends over because i knew he would ask them over and over if they had a boyfriend and then he would ask them on a date.
9. Starring at Emily Richardsons chest while we eat would dinner
10. Helping us do drive bys in 8th grade

Happy Birthday Aaron. We love you!!!

I know there are a lot of you out there that know Aaron really well, maybe you can leave a comment about a funny memory you have of him.

So, I just laughed about 10 minutes straight after reading this. I don't know Aaron that well but I will never forget the whole Chris Echols thing. I couldn't stop laughing! Happy Birthday, Aaron!

Aaron is hilarious. When I was in highschool he would always ask my mom if I could sleep over at your house. Also he was over at my mom's house a few years ago and walked in on me while I was changing. He didn't even really see anything but my little bro started teasing him about it. He got so upset and ran out of the house. I felt so bad that he was so upset about it!

I saw Aaron a week or so ago at Cafe Rio, and he remembered me and started talking to me, but he called me Sarah. It was funny. I asked him if he liked working there and he told me about a huge tip he got last year. He is a funny dude. I will always remember him spending way too much time over at the Walton's to see Suzanne....who was 14 or so at the time. He must like pretty girls of all ages!

Very Cute Post.

I don't know Aaron and had no clue he was your brother, but He is SO Very Sweet. He offered to help me one evening carry out my bag of food because I had both of my girls with me. Such a sweetheart.

Oh Alisa what funny memories! Aaron is awesome. He would totally stare at my boobs when I'd come over for dinner. :) My favorite memory was when he drove us down Lake Mead Blvd (before the interstate was there), speeding, laughing, and jumping up and down in the drivers seat. Of course we thought we were going to die and were being over dramatic crying and screaming for him to take us home. It seriously makes me laugh thinking about it.

Is this brother of yours still single? I've got a sister who is available? Good advertising!

Someday, I'll be a good sister like you.

That is so funny! I love reading your blogs, they always make me laugh. Aaron is like a legend, I have heard so much about him! One day I might just have to drive over to Cafe Rio to meet him--unless he's still not working becuase of his birthday! Hope he had a great day!

Where do I begin? I love Aaron, and most of my memories growing up have him in them. Here's a few:

1) When Chas babysat you guys, and Aaron was chasing you and Amy around the block with a butcher knife

2) He told me at my wedding shower at your Mom's house that he wanted to be my only child

3) When he was giving your Dad's friend directions to your house and he said, "Roll down your window. Now stick your head out the window. Do you hear that dog barking? That's my house."

4) Him and Wendy Gallela in our Sunday school class when my mom was the teacher. What is Wendy up to these days? Does she still have her restraining order against him? :)

Man, I could name so many more. Thanks for the memories. I love your family and I am thankful for your friendship these past 22 years.
Tell Amber hello for me!!!!!

Aaron makes me laugh. Every time I see him at Cafe Rio he first asks me if Grace is a boy or a girl and then he tells me to tell you to answer your phone when he calls you. Did that make sense? He's asked me 3 times now. He's a good guy, he's always so friendly and willing to help me with a highchair, tray, etc.

Well currently he always tells me he is going to email me and I better email him back quickly. Way back when I remember being outside pauls apartment and him hitting a car and us getting out to look at the damage and when we did aaron left us there and drove away like a bat out of hell Good times...good times..

I LOVE Aaron, seriously, he is so fantastic! When I was little, I used to be scared of him because he would tell me he loved me and try to kiss me. Then he would try to get your scary dog to attack Amy, Cori and I. He really is just so sweet and loves everyone. Tell him I said Late Happy Birthday!
