Ahhh.....the joy of hand me downs. Don't get me wrong I welcome them with BIG open arms. There are those rare times when you go through the bag and you see something that is not staying at your house. Right as your about to stuff it back in the bag your kids see it and really want it. It's too late. What do you do? Do you fight them about and say it's ugly and there is no way you are wearing it, or do you let them wear it and just laugh. The kids won this time.
Yes people those are spiderman PJs. The best part about it is the mesh part underneath their arms. It really makes them look like the real thing, right? They love these things. The set Parker has are shorts so he has just started wearing them. He goes through the house pretending to webb me. It's so cute and makes me want to pinch his cheeks and kiss him forever. I'm sure there are a few of you wondering if you gave these to us. No worries this person doesn't read the blog and never will(at least I hope).

That's so funny that you bring that up at the end because I was reading it wondering, "geeez--what if whoever gave those to her reads this!" I know how you feel though, we had a "no character rule." (but I did cave every once in a while)
So funny! At least they are just PJ's. I'm totally not into the "character" clothes, but hey I know a lot of people do!
Ahhh, their cute! I say let them wear whatever jammas they want. It's in public we should choose our battles! :-)
PJ's are no biggie. Noelle LOVES wearing adult shirts to bed. Whatever floats her boat. The webbing is so funny. I was wondering what it was- it kind of looked like a cape. I was thinking, did Spiderman wear a cape? :)

I too have the problem with hand me downs, love them but there are always a few peices that you wish the kids would never see.
