All You Need is Love

"All you need is Love" Just picture me singing that song from the movie Moulin Rouge(love that movie). I hear many people say they don't like Valentine's Day. That they don't need a certain day to tell someone they love them. I love it for that exact reason. I don't know about anyone else but Luke and don't exactly have a ton of time to be lovey dovey 24/7. We have 4 kids and they make us TIRED! It's nice to have a day to do something nice for your spouse and kids that you wouldn't normally do on a daily basis. We aren't big gift givers on V-day. We tend to go for the homemade things, which are my favorite.

This year the kids had a lot of fun. We heart attacked their bedroom doors, and then when they came in the kitchen the table was decorated. They each had a $ store present on their chair. We then had a nice homemade breakfast.
The best part about having a child in school is the homemade gifts they bring home. Nicholas kept this hidden from me and then gave it to me in the morning. He was so excited.

Then I gave Luke this Candy gram. Nothing special but it was fun and different. Walmart didn't have a great selection of candy so it made it somewhat difficult to come up with things that made sense. Luke gave me a sweet card and a blank paper with the numbers 1 through 25 on it. He knew I wanted to put new songs on my MP3 player for working out but I never have because I don't want to spend the money. It was a great day and made me realize how I am so grateful for a wonderful family. I LOVE them!

I don't have an i-pod, so maybe that's why...but I don't get the paper with the numbers on it?
