I love Mother's Day. I think it's better than my birthday. I can't take my birthday off because most of the time it lands on a weekday and Luke isn't going to take that day off. I still have my motherly duties I have to do and so it's never a just "me" day. Luke let me sleep in, he brought me breakfast in bed, and the 3 older kids were so excited for me to read their homemade cards and gifts. Luke cleaned the kitchen(twice), and got the kids ready for church. It's been a great day. Being a Mom is a tough but rewarding job. Who knew it could be this hard? It's days like today when I see my kids and realize how stinking cute they are, and how lucky they are to have the coolest and hippest mom in the world.

Did Luke even do Sammy's hair? Just curious! If so, he did a really good job.
