A fun weekend

A couple weekends ago my great Uncle Jim and his wife Anne came to Vegas to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The live in England and thought it would be a fun idea to fly all their American friends and family to celebrate with them. Growing up my dad loved to take us to England to see him. Since my Dad's dad died pretty young, Uncle Jim was like a father to my dad. It was really important to him for his children to know him. Uncle Jim is a great man, a little dirty, but still a great person. He planned a fun weekend for us. On Saturday night we went and saw Jersey Boys. It was a great show. I can't recommend it to anyone because the language is not very good, but what do you expect from a bunch of boys living in Jersey back in the day? The music was incredible. Then on Sunday we had a very nice dinner in The Venetian. My Uncle isn't LDS so he had an open bar and it was hilarious to watch some of these old people drink. Funny sight to see. I of course loaded up on the Ginger Ale. It was so much fun to have 2 kid less nights in a row and do things we normally don't get to do. It was also nice to be with all my siblings and cousins actually get to talk. Fun times!

Luke totally made fun of me for taking this picture but I was so excited that it had my name on it. I really should get out more.

Looks like fun! I've never had my name at my table like that...writing it myself with crayon on the tablecloth doesn't count :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes pictures of things that might seem silly or random to others : )
