Nicholas participated in a Star Spangled Spectacular this last week. All the 1st graders in his school performed in it. I loved it and loved listening to all the songs they sang. It was nice to see that they still allow kids to perform such patriotic songs that say the word "god" in it. Nick had a speaking part and did awesome at it. He has been practicing his part and songs for a month now. The very last song they sang Proud To Be An American and did sign language to it. It's one of my favorite songs and I admit I got a little emotional while they were performing it.

DANG! I'm so mad I forgot about this. I really wanted to see Nicky's I'm Proud to be an American performance. We'll have to see if we can get him to perform again at a family dinner! :)
