Gymnastics

Sammy has been begging for a trophy. I think because she sees that Nicholas get one for all the sports. We had to order trophies for Nick's baseball team so we decided to get Sammy a gymnastics one. She loves and can't stop smiling when she holds it.

(Sammy learned how to get up all by herself)

Sammy started gymnastics about 9 months ago. I loved watching her and I LOVED the place she went to. So learned so much and I really want her to continue. We took a little break since it's summer and it's pricey so our pocket books needed a break too. I never felt like Sammy really loved it and it kind of bummed me out because secretly I wished I could be a gymnast. Well of course her last 2 classes she really showed me she was learning things and was finally getting it. She told me she wanted to keep doing it(when of course 2 weeks earlier she said she was done). I am hoping we can afford to put her back in. You'll have to excuse these bad photos. My camera is going crazy on me, and I had to take pictures through dirty windows.

(I have to brag and say Sammy was the best on the beam. She kept her balance really well)
(She mastered this the first class)
I am glad she has had the opportunity to try this sport out. She isn't really into soccer or any other sports like that. I did tell her that she has to do volleyball when she is old enough. She is tall and I think she would do really well.

I hope she gets to keep doing it. She looks like she's picking it up great! I am definitely ready to start Claire. She had her first class through the rec center but I want her to go to Gymcats. Did you do one or two days a week?

I love how excited she is about the trophy! Clark is the same way...Blake only has one trophy, but he's a bit jealous. Isaac even has one from some silly baby contest he won in our town. Luckily the older boys are both playing soccer in the fall so he should get one then.

And I never knew you wanted to be a gymnast! I used to love watching their floor routines in the olympics.
