Lund Happenings

Nick played baseball again this Spring. We decided to go to a different league this year. It was cheaper and a shorter season, and only 1 game a week instead of 2. This was a life saver for me. With Luke always coaching I am left by myself with 3 little kids running around the ball park. Noah was the worst and I pretty much never saw 1 whole game. Next year we will have Nick and Parker playing together. I am getting anxiety just thinking about 4 games a week. Can I handle it? Probably not. This year Justin helped out Luke and they did a great job. They were so good with the kids and they really improved throughout the season.

I decided I should probably get some pictures, so the last game I asked my mom to watch Noah. I actually got to watch a full game and take some pictures. It was heaven.

Nick taking a swing. The sun was always in their eyes and it was so hard to see that ball.
For some reason Nick thinks he needs to slide anytime he comes home. Even if they are standing on home base with the ball waiting for him.
He got the game ball and his trophy the last game. He was very excited.
We moved a couple weeks ago(more on that later). We had this huge box and the kids played with it for weeks. It's amazing. Never thought a cardboard box could be so many things. A car, house, slide...you name it.
Nick lost both his top teeth. He looks adorable and I love that he can't say his S's. Those big teeth are coming in and he will look so much older. Not happy about that. He is getting so tall. He tells me he will be taller than me at the of age 10. Really? You think so? Try 8. He is at the top of my chest and still growing.
Sammy is my little helper. We have so much fun. She is always willing to help
I came into Noah's room and she took it into her own hands to change his diaper. Have I mentioned I am not ready for her to leave for school? Boo!!
Parker..oh Parker. We have our good days and we have our bad. He sees Noah doing this:
and thinks I can do it to him. Have I mentioned he weighs 45 solid pounds? Why am I not skinny if I am always doing this?Boo again. Parker makes us laugh all the time. He really is growing up and can be the sweetest boy. He is the one child that tells me he loves me all the time and everyday says "mom you look beautiful."

Noah is a normal 18 month toddler. The new house we moved into already had a fridge. It opens really easy. After a couple days of broken eggs, Crystal Light everywhere, and strawberries mashed into my carpet we decided to do this:
It was just a temporary fix until we got our new fridge. We now have the new fridge and he has giving up on trying to open it. Now we just have ice and water all over our floor from 3 little kids who think ice and water on a door is soooo cool. Note to self- we should have paid extra for a lock on the ice dispenser.

Life is good. We are busy, healthy, and happy about 75% of the time:)

75%? that's a GREAT percentage! last week was our first week of summer break. the kids fought like ca-razy- so it was about good about 50% of the time 'round here. The good times made it worth it though. Good to get caught up on your cute kids. I can't believe you moved- moving's a headache, yes? Fill me in sister.

My in laws got Drew a little basketball hoop and the best part was the box it came in. They played in it for HOURS!! I'm planning on giving them a new box for their birthday.

Boxes are an amazing thing. ya I think the leg lifts should count towards losing weight but our silly bodies often have different ideas don't they? Can't waite to hear more about the new house. Good luck with the ice : )
