The past couple summers we have gone back and forth about getting an above ground pool. I have always thought they were gheeeeeeeeeeto. We have always been able to use my parents pool, and my aunt's pool. When Lucy came along I figured we would still be able to do those things. Ummmm yeah, that wasn't happening. I tried the splash parks a couple times and she was so miserable. She was so hot and it's not like she could run through the water to cool off. I knew if we didn't do something quick this summer would be miserable. We finally caved and bought a pool. LUke is amazing and busted the whole thing out in one Saturday. The prep took some time. He had to make sure the ground was level. The kids love it and we love it! It's so nice having the option to put Lucy down and letting them swim. I actually think Luke likes it more than the kids. He goes in there every night to do his water aerobics. Funny guy. I was nervous about Noah at first, but it has been fine. We got an alarm for our sliding glass door. That makes me feel a little better. It has really helped him swim. I am hoping by the end of the summer he will be swimming the length of the pool with no floaties.
This was Lucy's first time and she wasn't so sure about it. She didn't cry, just had this concerned look the whole time. What a chubbers!!
