A Fab Weekend

This last weekend Emily, Rushelle, Jenny, and I went on a girls only weekend. It was awesome. Just what i needed. I felt like i deserved it since Luke "left" me for 12 days(yes i will never let him live that down). We wanted it to be a relaxing weekend of nothing to do, and that's exactly what we got. All we did was eat, lay by the beach, eat, play games, eat, laugh, and eat some more. Can you tell what our favorite thing to do was?

On Sunday Jenny did our hair and makeup for our CRAZY night out. It was so fun. We even got a few whistles which made me feel pretty good. It was dark though...does that count?
Of course you can't have a girls weekend without a pedicure.
We found the beach house we stayed at 10 years ago for our Senior trip.

Hotties on the beach!

Who would buy these sunglasses?

Our night out!

Stuffing our faces once again....it was awesome.
Thanks girls for a fun fun weekend. I loved it and can't wait to go back.

Friday...Fun Day??

Usually Fridays are fun days for us. Um yeah...not today. All 3 of my kids had to get shots today. The original plan was to just have Sammy and Parker get theirs and then have Nicholas get his next week. The Dr. talked me into getting all 3 of them today. Yes i must be crazy! Nicholas had to have 4 shots and he was terrified. Then Sammy went next, and of course she was even more terrified because she saw her older brother going crazy. Last was Parker and he did pretty good. He had to get 2 shots and after the 2ND one he was crying. So here i am with 3 kids who are all crying. People were looking at me like i was crazy. You better believe that i let each kid take 3 lollipops. I promised them Mickey D's since they had to get shots. I am leaving on a girls weekend trip tomorrow so hopefully they aren't too bad for Luke--I promise i didn't plan that.
They are showing you their boo boos. Nicholas was trying to make a sad face but he just couldn't.

Argh Matey

Have I mentioned that my kids have the best Dad? Yes, I'm sure i have. They really do have the best Daddy though. I wasn't feeling very good Saturday night so he played treasure hunt with them. He dressed them like pirates and made a map of our house and burnt the edges so it had that " pirate feel" to it. He also took some fake money and put it in a box and then hid it in our house. The kids loved it and had so much fun.
This was the first time they found their "treasure"
Sammy with her compass
Nicholas with his very ancient map.
And of course i have to put a picture of Parker in here. Yes he is naked and yes he is touching something down there. Anytime his diaper is off his hands go right to that area. I just love his face in this picture.

Don't worry...

after 12 days all by myself my children are still alive. I'm sure most of you were a little nervous, especially when you were on the phone with me and heard me yell at my kids. We made it and we are so glad that Luke is home! The kids missed him so much and they were so excited to surprise him at the airport. He thought we were picking him up on the curb. Instead we made some signs and waited by the baggage claim. I even made Parker a sign that said "it's about time!" It ended up being his chewing toy, but what ever makes him happy. I'm sure most of you are glad to have him home so i can stop complaining. Now life can get somewhat back to normal and i can start losing these 10 lbs I gained while he was gone.

Random Pictures

Here are a few random pictures of us. I have been trying to keep the kids busy so i don't go completely insane. So far it's going...and that's it. Some days are really bad and some days are just bad. Okay there are some good days. One of my good friends came for the weekend so that was nice to have some adult interaction when the kids went down at night.
I too this picture for Luke so he didn't forget what we look like.

If you ever get into trouble Parker has your back. This kids cracks me up. He puts these on himself and goes around like he's a tough guy.

My Little Polar Bear

I have never been big on giving my kids nicknames. The first thing that comes to Luke's mind when we are thinking of names is "what will be their nickname?" Nicholas and Sammy were easy but Parker has been a hard one. Some people call him Park and honestly i can't stand it. "Hey Park, let's go to the park today" see i told you it just doesn't work. My older sister Amber has thought of the cutest nickname. I love it. "Polar Bear". It has kind of stuck with us. He really looks like a Polar Bear with his white skin and white hair. Also he is a big and stalky and looks like a bully but is such a cuddler at the same time.

This kid is all Lund. He looks just like Luke did when he was this age.
His new trick that makes my life so much easier

Happy Birthday Nicky!!

So my little boy turned 4 today. I still can't believe that my oldest is 4 years old. It's so strange to think that he could go to Kindergarten next year. I just don't think i am ready for that. Nicholas was very hard baby for the first 6 months. He always wanted to be held, he rarely slept, he never really liked breastfeeding. He was definitely a handful. He started crawling at 5 months(i am not joking, ask Emily). He was always on the go. Even though he was my hardest baby out of all 3 he has made up for it by being the sweetest boy. We love him so much and can't imagine our family without him. Here are just a few of the reason why he is the best 4 yr old ever!

- he is always so good at sharing. When his younger and very aggressive sister takes a toy from him, he usually doesn't care and just goes to the next toy.
- he LOVES puzzles. He can now put together a 48 piece puzzle in about 15 min.
- he is such a jokester. He is always thinking of things to make us laugh.
- he is a social butterfly, he is always asking what friends he can play with

This year was his first real friend party. We had 6 of his friends over for a "Turtley Awesome Party". He really wanted a Ninja Turtle Party. Don't ask me why, he never really watches them. He had so much and i am pretty sure his friends did too. Now i can rest for at least another year. Thanks to all my family who helped out.

Sorry for the picture overload

Nicholas at 3 weeks old

Instead of party bags, i put the candy and toys in a mini pizza box because everyone knows that the Ninja Turtles love pizza

He was so excited to get "Hulk Hands"

The awesome cake that my Aunt offered to make

We played pin the mask on the turtle, the kids loved it!

All the kids in their masks!
