Into Everything!

Remember when you only had one child? Life was a little easier right? They didn't have older siblings to teach them BAD BAD things. Nicholas was my first so he really wasn't a trouble maker. Never really cared to get into everything. Sammy was such an easy going baby. She could sit in her stroller forever and not make a peep. She was actually a good toddler until 2 1/2 hit. Parker was a great baby too. Until he hit 9 months...my whole world changed. This little devil is everywhere and into EVERYTHING!! He has learned all the tricks and trades of getting things he shouldn't. Of course who does he learn it from? These kids:
I was getting ready for church when I noticed it was a little too quiet. That is what I saw. But really this is the real culprit:
Today Parker decided to push a chair to the counter and got into my unisom. Yes it was my fault because I didn't put it away but it was in a corner really far back. He decided to get on the counter to find something he knew he shouldn't have. I noticed 2 of the unisoms(they were gel caps) has some bite marks on it and stuff was coming out. So of course I call Poison Control and tell them what happen. Everything is fine and whatever he got in his mouth didn't even phase him because he was his normal hyper self until naptime. I seriously love this little blondie, blue eyed, and fair skin boy. Everytime he is being a stinker he gives me that look and makes it very hard for me to get upset at him. I know I was not this when I was little so I am thinking Luke was pretty similar to this when he was younger. Oh boy I have a long 18 years ahead of me with this little one. Wish me luck!

Hand Me Downs

Ahhh.....the joy of hand me downs. Don't get me wrong I welcome them with BIG open arms. There are those rare times when you go through the bag and you see something that is not staying at your house. Right as your about to stuff it back in the bag your kids see it and really want it. It's too late. What do you do? Do you fight them about and say it's ugly and there is no way you are wearing it, or do you let them wear it and just laugh. The kids won this time.
Yes people those are spiderman PJs. The best part about it is the mesh part underneath their arms. It really makes them look like the real thing, right? They love these things. The set Parker has are shorts so he has just started wearing them. He goes through the house pretending to webb me. It's so cute and makes me want to pinch his cheeks and kiss him forever. I'm sure there are a few of you wondering if you gave these to us. No worries this person doesn't read the blog and never will(at least I hope).

More Easter!

So here are more Easter pictures. The Easter Bunny brought me this:
That's a smart Easter Bunny, now all I need is to find a way to get Luke to watch it with me. Any suggestions??

All dressed up!

One of my favorite parts about Easter is dressing my kids all matchy matchy in springy clothes. It's so fun! My mom was the shopper this time. I think she did a great job.

I love having a girl. Sure they can sooooo dramatic sometimes but it is so much fun shopping for them. The best part is they get so excited when they get something new. At least Sammy does. When she gets a new outfit on she acts so funny, like she is modeling it. I did her hair for the first time in sponge curlers. I think it turned out so cute! I love little girls!!

I swear one day I will get a decent picture of all 3. By the end of picture taking I am so stressed that it's almost not even worth it. This is the best I got. Aren't my kids cute? I think so!

Let the Hunt begin....

The night before I kept telling Nicholas that the Easter Bunny is not like Santa Clause. He doesn't bring a lot of toys. I didn't want him waking up really really early thinking there were going to be all these toys to unwrap. Then he started freaking out about a big Easter Bunny coming into our house while we are sleeping. Which is really freaky(if it was true)! I assured him that he won't even hear the bunny because he leaves the eggs and the baskets outside and Mom and Dad bring the baskets inside.
Enjoying their candy at 7 in the morning. And I wonder why they were crazy at church.

Dying the eggs

On Saturday we did the whole dying the Easter egg thing. It was fun I got a little tired of telling Parker that the vinegar is not water. I swear every 2 min he tried drinking the dye mixes thinking it was a drink. That's our Parker! Nicholas and Sammy had a blast. I feel a little bad because I bought a Tye dye kit and let's just say it didn't turn out how it was supposed to. So our eggs were just plain and boring. The kids had fun though.
Growing up we dyed a ton of Easter eggs and those were eggs we hunted for. We didn't hunt for candy or anything like that. The Easter Bunny always left that in our basket. Luke grew up hunting for candy only. So we only dyed a little bit of eggs because the rest of the candy was hidden by the Easter Bunny.

Parker was very obsessed over the eggs. Look at the crazy face! No one was allowed to touch them.
Happy again!

No Training Wheels

Last week Nicholas learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. For the last 6 months he has told me when he is 5 he will take them off. I was fine with that. He was invited to his friend Maddox's house and I guess he just picked up his bike and started riding it there. From that day on Nicholas insists on NO TRAINING WHEELS! He is still a little hesitant but overall he is doing really well. He still gets a little scared of stopping, so I think that's something we need to work on. I'm so proud of him. He is growing up too fast.
