Memorial Weekend Part 1

We are a sports family. We love them. I got used to growing up without any professional teams. Since Luke grew up in Chicago area he was surrounded by pro teams. He gets a little depressed about Vegas not having any. If he could change 2 things about Vegas it would be having seasons, and getting a pro team. Believe it or not we do have a Minor league baseball team. The Las Vegas 51's. We have never gone because it's not in the greatest areas. Nicholas' school did a night there and the tickets were really cheap. So we went for it. The kids got free hats, and we actually splurged and got them snow cones. Best money we ever spent. It kept Parker occupied for at least an hour!
The boys had to have gloves to catch some balls. Parker was into the game for about half an inning but Nicholas loved every second of it. Was I surprised? Not at all.

Parker was doing this face on purpose. He always has to pose for any picture we take. We never know what kind of face he is going to make. Who does he get this from? His Dad! Every picture I see of Luke when he was younger he is making a face of some sort.
It was a fun night and we left there saying we should do it more often.

How fun! I know Dan wants to take Blake to a game soon. I don't think the other kids would be interested. We have a minor's team in Sacramento...but the major team (SF Giants) is about 2 hours away. The tickets can get pricey though!

Glad you splurged on the snow cones. I love those things!
