So not ready for this

Nicholas has officially lost his first tooth. I posted on facebook when it was loose and in my status I wrote that they just aren't as cute when these big crooked teeth come in. I think some people thought I meant my kid wasn't cute. Of course he is still cute, come on he's a Lund. I meant the teeth aren't cute, and I am so not ready for him to have a mouthful of crooked teeth. If he takes after the Zockoll side he will need braces. When Luke talks about my uglier years he likes to call me snaggle tooth. Yes my teeth were pretty crooked. My husband is so nice.

Soooo... Nick had this tooth that was loose and I refuse to touch it or pull it. I don't do that kind of thing. It might have something to do with my parents pinning me to the ground and pulling my teeth out. I was one of those people who would rather have it dangling than get it pulled. Nick finally let Luke pull it. He was okay until he saw blood and then he went crazy. It was pretty funny. Here he is with his tooth in a baggie and showing off his gap. Sorry that's as close as you will get. I hate going on people's blogs and seeing a picture of their child's bloody hole. It makes me squirm.

After the drama subsided he sat down and wrote the tooth fairy a letter. He wanted to ask the tooth fairy for $100. I told him I think the tooth fairy gives $2 for the first tooth and a $1 for the rest. Yes we may be cheap but he's 6.

He was very excited to get the money the next morning. He didn't sleep on his pillow because he was scared she wouldn't be able to get the money because fairies are so small. Alright so now that the first tooth is over with we have about 30 or more to go.
