School = Happiness

I now officially have 3 kids in school. It's crazy madness around here. If you can't get a hold of me just jump in your car. You will definitely find me on the road. It's great though. Sammy started her 2nd year of preschool and loves it. She went in the first day with no problem. Last year it took her over 2 months to get used to it. She requested that we chop her hair off. I was more than happy to do it because she fights me whenever I try to comb it out. It's so much easier this way. The day we got it chopped off she stood in front of the mirror singing "All the single ladies". This girl is growing up so fast. We love her!
Parker also started his 1st year of preschool. Can I get a Hallelujah, or Praise the Lord? I was definitely excited for this day. I love this guy but my love grows stronger when we are apart for 2 hours 2 days a week. He was very excited to be in a class with a couple friends, and his best cousin Jackie Boy. I got him some shoes a couple weeks ago and he has been dying to wear them.
Look at those scholars.
Sammy loves Nick and likes to call him her boyfriend, Nick doesn't like it one bit. He is at that stage where girls are gross, and he would rather trade baseball cards with his friends. I just love this picture because it really shows the feelings of both kids.
Nick is LOVING school. Like obsessed with it. On Sunday he asked if he could go to school.
-he has to be dropped off right when the gates open
-he hates hot lunch
-he can't wait until he plays the drums in music class(not sure if that will ever happen)
-he loves trading baseball cards
-he is playing basketball at lunch with older kids
-he loves his teacher Mrs. Eccles. We laugh at his teachers name because my brother Aaron has called me Chris Echols(teacher's name spelled different but pronounced the same) since 8th grade.

School is awesome. The first week was hard with Nick being gone all day, but now I love it! It's busier in a different way, but man it makes me a better mom. The best part about it is I am so excited to see them when they get home. Things are good, real good.

I couldn't agree more. School does equal happiness. For them and for us. :)

Praise the Lord! I'm with you Alisa! The routine and having the kids in school where they are happy and we are happy is awesome. Your kids are so cute and I love Sammy's new do. :)
