Nick had pretty much a whole week of celebrating his birthday. Out of all my kids he is the one who is a little obsessed with his birthday. I think he gets that from me. I was similar when I was younger. Once his party is done he is talking about what he wants to do for his next birthday. Slow down buddy! This year he decided on a baseball party. Sports again. I told Luke I was not doing an outsdie part again. Too hot! Luke said he would be in charge of it. Well after asking around it looked like half his friends were going to be gone. I said a silent Hallelujah! You need a lot of kids for a baseball game so we decided on a X box baseball game. Luke set up a tournament bracket, we had hotdogs, popcorn, and soda. It was perfect. Inside and cool. The boys had so much fun playing against each other.
Let's just say Sammy loved having all these boys at our house. She was such a show off during this party.
Then of course the morning of his actual birthday he had donuts, then we packed up our stuff and headed to Arizona to see some cousins. They did a little birthday celebration for him that night. He loved having all the attention on him.
Then the night we came home from AZ my parents had dinner celebrating all August birthdays.
I'd say his 8th birthday was a success!
