I finally got the Mother's Day I have been waiting for. Don't get me wrong, the ones in the past have been great but this was just extra special. It was the first time my kids went up to sing to me in sacrament. Last year Nicholas refused to go up. I think it helped him this time because Sammy was with him. It was so cute and I even caught my self getting a little emotional. I loved watching my 2 kids trying to sing their hearts out. It didn't hurt that I told them they could have fruit snacks if they sang really loud.
I tired to get a picture before church but as you can see it just didn't work out.
Here are the candy flower bouquets Sammy and Nicholas made. They are cute and the kids couldn't wait to eat the candy off of them. Parker came out of nursery holding a necklace he made. Adorable!I tired to get a picture before church but as you can see it just didn't work out.

I think that picture is adorable! How sweet Alisa! Isn't awesome having a day where you really just get to enjoy the kids without as much work as usual? That's what I especially love. I'm so glad you had a good day!
I love your idea to give the kids fruit snacks if they sing loudly. Blake went up on the stage, but I only saw the back of him since I was sitting up there to speak. Glad you had a great day!
It is sweet when they go there to sing! Even though I know it's coming, I love it! :-)
