5 years ago I gave birth to this skinny long adorable little boy. He was so skinny and long that his Papa Lund called him "spider baby". He changed our lives forever. Nicholas has such a big heart and is always worried about peoples feelings(he of course got that trait from me). He is always willing to help me around the house and never hesitates to tell me he loves me. He is our social bug. He could be at a friends house for 12 hours straight and not even get homesick. Everyday he asks me who's house he is going to. I can't believe he starts Kindergarten in a couple weeks. I know he will do great and I am so excited (and a little sad) for him to start this new adventure. Here are a few things about Nicholas:- He loves any kind of superhero
-He remembers everything, seriously nothing gets passed this kid
-He loves playing XBox with Luke
-Loves being with his buddies
-Loves teasing and chasing Uncle Aaron around
-He is very good to Sammy and Parker
- He loves to learn
-He is really into coloring right now, I mean REALLY into it. He is good at it too
There are so many thing about Nicholas that we love. He is leaving me tomorrow for 3 days and 3 nights. My parents are taking him to Disneyland and I'm not sure I am ready for this. I wonder if they'll take Parker instead? We love you Nicholas!!!
The awesome tank cake that I made. One of the easiest cakes to make ever.
When all the boys arrived we wrapped army bandanas on their heads and put some war paint on their faces. The boys thought they were really cool.

Luke had a great idea of making an obstacle course for "boot camp". The kids had so much fun. He timed all of them and they took it really serious. Here is Nicholas starting off......

I love that cake it came out adorable!!! Brayden had so much fun at the party and he still thinks he is so cool with the bandana on his head! Thanks for the great time you guys are so creative.

What a fun party. I can't believe you did it in the heat! Let's just say my kids are lucky they have fall and spring birthdays! What is the dirt on your cake. That is so cool.
So I guess Nicholas won't be coming over this week if he is leaving for three days. He asked me at church on Sunday if he could come over to my house this week! haha... :-) I love Nicholas too! I think he is such a sweet heart. Happy Birthday to him!!
Happy birthday little nephew! Alisa, the cake looks great! What a fun idea for a party. I know Blake would love doing an obstacle course like that. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived close to each other so we could celebrate birthdays together...someday!
