Little Entrepreneur
Yesterday we had a garage sale. We actually have been meaning to have one before Parker was even born but never got around to it. Finally Luke told me he wanted his garage back so it was a garage sale or DI. Since we could use some extra money I decided to give the garage sale a try. The night before Nicholas asked if we could do a lemonade stand soon. I got the fabulous idea to do it while we were having the sale. Who can really resist 3 little cuties selling lemonade? I have to say Nicholas was our #1 sales person. He asked everyone who came if they wanted some lemonade. He wasn't scared at all. Most people just donated money because they didn't want any but the kids still made $13.15. That was their total after I took what it cost me to buy the stuff for it. Since Nicholas did most of the work he got $9, Sammy got $2 and Parker got $1. Parker did nothing but drink about 20 glasses of it and use all of the cups. Nicholas really enjoyed it. We think we have a future salesman in our family. I forgot to take a picture all day and so I dragged him out in the 100 degree heat to get a picture so I could document it.
Just wanted to give all the ladies some advice. Don't ever do a garage sale 71/2 months pregnant and in the 100 degree heat. :)

That is awesome. I didn't see you out when I got home from Braydon's football game or I would've stopped by and bought some. I used to do lemonade stands myself and I know how important customers are. Looks like he did pretty good though! I guess he's ready for some chickens!
Great story Alisa! I wish I could have come!!!
I think you do have a salesman on your hands. Although, he is so adorable, he could get away with not saying anything and they probably would still give him money.
Loved your last post. So honest. I hope your feeling better! If you want, I can keep your kids so you and Luke can go out. What ever happened to our weekend trades?? Although, I won't be asking you anytime soon. You have enough on your plate. But I am here if you need me! :-)
