Quack, quack!

We wanted to do something with the kids on Labor day. We thought about going to Mt. Charleston but the thought of me hiking with this big belly didn't sound appealing. We decided to go feed the ducks but didn't really want to drive to Sunset park where all the bums hangout. Luke remembered there was another place to feed ducks and they had a great water park there too. So at 8:30(yes my kids wake up really early) we were out the door. We wanted to beat the heat. When we got there the ducks were terrified. It might have something to do with Parker chasing them saying QUACK really loud. Once they realized we had food they warmed up to us. Nicholas really understood this time that he needed to break the bread up into pieces so it would last longer. He loved seeing the ducks fight over the pieces he threw in. Sammy was such a mom to them. She would notice that one duck took a piece of bread away and would try to throw a piece to the one who had it stolen. Parker on the other hand was throwing whole pieces on the duck's head. That's our Parker! Two loaves of bread lasted about umm.....20 whole minutes. The kids had fun but they were ready to go over to the water park. They had a lot of fun at the splash park and we promised we would go back because this water park was pretty awesome and there was no one there. Yeah it could have been because it was 9:30 in the morning. Here are some pictures from our family outing. Why oh why can't my kids make normal faces when I take my camera out.

I love this picture. I had a rough day today and just looking at this picture makes me realize how lucky I am. My family is the Bomb! Yes I just "the Bomb", who cares! OH and if you are wondering why you haven't seen many pictures of me lately, it's because I don't take pictures while pregnant. If they are taken they will never make it to this blog...ever!

That last picture is great! You are crazy Alisa- you totally need pictures of you. You probably look great anyway, and even you don't think so, your pregnant- you're supposed to different.

Don't worry, I will try to get some pictures of you for the young womens blog. That way you won't feel left out =)
We go to that park pretty often. It is so fun. And there aren't 50,000 people there, which is nice. The kids like to fish. I once caught a turtle. It was tragic!

What a fun litte family outing! Cute pictures! The funny thing is that I was thinking, "I wonder if she has a picture of her too, I want to see her baby bump" and then I read that last little bit, lol...I think all pregnant girls are so cute!!!

I love it when people say "the BOMB" it was so popular when we were in HS. Rich and I take the kids to feed the ducks at Sunset park (sometimes scary)but the person trying to hit the ducks in the head is Rich.....not my kids.:o) You have a cute family, btw.

How funny! We DID go to Sunset park (I know what you mean about bums, haha) We played toys and then fed the ducks. I didn't realize there was another park in town with ducks. Where is it?

I rarely put pregnant pictures of me on my blog either. But I LOVE seeing them of other people. Go figure :)
