At the end of January Sammy and I took a little break from all the testosterone in our house and flew on over to San Fransisco to see my sister Amy and her family. Her husband is in dental school there and he graduates soon. We won't have a good excuse to visit anymore so we had to take advantage of it. With Luke going out of town a lot he accumulates miles and so our flight was free. Score!! It was Sammy's first time on a plane that she remembers. She flew to Hawaii when she was 6 months old. She was so excited and couldn't stop smiling.
She loved being able to play with her cousin Daphne and be her little babysitter. I loved spending time with my baby sister. It was a blast. We went to the beach, ate, and just relaxed. I wasn't in the mood to go into the city and walk all over. I wanted a relaxing vacation and that's what I got. I was so glad I was able to spend it with Sammy before this baby comes and she isn't the only girl anymore. We told all the boys that they will get their turn to go see a cousin and fly there.
Ready for take off
Sammy and Golden Gate Bridge
Me and Amy.
She did my hair for me that day. I loved it, and it has never looked that like that again.
They loved playing at the beach. The weather was perfect!
Going home. Boo!!
