It's been a little crazy this season with sports. We now have 3 kids in stuff and it makes for crazy weeks and Saturdays. It has made this last month of pregnancy go by really fast. Nick and Parker played basketball. They both loved it. Nick was a on a great team with a great coach. It was the perfect team for Nick to be on. He wasn't on a team where there were a ton of kids better than him which meant he played a lot and was able to really progress. There were a couple games where he made the winning shot. It was more competitive this year which made it so fun for me. I tend to get a little crazy!
This was Parker's first year playing and he tore it up! They don't keep score(oh but I do!!) and they don't allow you to steal the ball. It's all about learning the basics. Luke coached his team and he loved that. He had a great season and came away from each game shooting 3 or 4 baskets.
Samantha started Volleyball and really liked it. I forced her into this one. I told her she needed to do something physical. I gave her a few options and she said no to all of them, so I picked for her. Mother always knows best , right? She isn't the best on the team at all but she has learned and grown so much from the start to the end. It has helped her shyness and she has asked to play again for the next season. Crossing my fingers she continues to do it. Not to mention she looks so cute in her uniform.
Now it might seem I have more pictures of Sammy than the boys. Yes, it's true but during the boys games I was usually by myself with a crazy 3 year old and didn't really have time to snap a bunch of pictures. With Sammy I always had Luke there to help. Makes a huge difference!
